Rome wasn’t built in a day

“Rome wasn’t built in a day”

Sometimes it’s very hard to find a reason to change.

How can I change my career, start a business or step outside of my comfort zone when I lack the confidence to do any of these things?

Who will I hang around with if I give up alcohol to try and create a more meaningful and fulfilled?

How can I improve my mindset if I am depressed and negative for too long to remember.

I’ll never be able to lose all this weight, I’m to far gone.

Remember Rome wasn’t built in a day.

And neither will you be.

Regardless of what you are trying to achieve, it takes time and it takes patience.

I wanted to change my life for so long before I ever took any action. I wanted to look better, be smarter, start a business and help people but I whenever I thought about all of these things together I got overwhelmed and didn’t start working on any of them.

The key thing to remind yourself is that Rome wasn’t built in a day but it turned into one of the most remarkable cities in the world – overtime!

And you too, can turn into something remarkable overtime.

You’ve got to break things down and remind yourself of the process. Think about what you are doing now and how it’s adding to your larger vision when you feel overwhelmed.

Success isn’t one big significant moment, it’s a bunch of small things stacked on top of each other so take action today and start working on the small things that will build you into a giant.

I started working on myself 4 years ago with nothing but a larger vision of what my life might look like if I took some small steps today.

Everyday I worked on those small steps and eventually to led me to where I wanted to be.

So start today, take the first step and remember; Rome wasn’t built in a day!
