Anxiety comes when we need to change something. Whenever we need to change something in our lives anxiety starts knocking at our door and the reason why is because anxiety is fear, it’s fear of the unknown.
Because you are fearful of the unknown you are afraid to make any changes and therefore your anxiety gets worse which leads to you feeling stuck and overwhelmed.
I bet you can think of a time in your life when you were totally happy and clear headed. So I want you to think back to that time and ask yourself was there anything that needed changing back then or were you happy with your life as it was?
Now ask yourself if you are happy in your life right now? And if not, ask yourself; What do I need to change?
Remember anxiety doesn’t bother us when we are happy and content because when we are happy and content we usually don’t want to change anything in our life.
Anxiety comes whenever we need to change.
It comes as a warning signal to help us rather than hinder us but because we fear the unknown we don’t take any action to make the changes that we need to make.
So here’s 3 tips that will help you lesson and eliminate your anxiety.
1. Write down what you are unhappy about in your life.
2. Write down what you need to do to change or improve this circumstance.
3. Face your fear and start taking actionable steps towards changing.
If you do all of the above and keep the momentum going, your anxiety will pass and you will reach a new level in your life also.
