Changing and Losing People

Afraid to Change because you will Lose People in your Life?

If you change, what will happen to the people that are currently in your life?

Will they support you, encourage you or what will they even think of you?

The biggest reason you’ve been holding back on the changes you need to make is you’ve been concerned about losing the people who you already know are a bad influence on you.

Think about it.

You want to change, you can’t live the way you are living any longer, not knowing anything about yourself and too afraid to try anything new because of what other people will think.

Here’s the facts;

The people who you’ve been trying to keep up appearances with are struggling too, they’ve just got a better way of hiding it.

And the longer that you keep your appearances up with these people the more time you are sacrificing in figuring out what you want to do with your life and what you are capable of.

The truth is that you are going to lose some people when you decide to change your life, that’s a given.

But trust me, the people you lose are not the people you want in your corner when you start to own your life and go after what’s important to you.

More importantly, you won’t lose everyone.

The very moment that you DECIDE to change your life, you will start to lead by example and the ones who are struggling just like you are will start to follow in your footsteps.

And as you grow and find out what your interests are, you’ll begin to find more like minded people who have the same interests and values as you.

So you’ve got to be ok with losing people before you can move forward.

Otherwise you’ll have to keep wearing your mask while being unfulfilled, under confident and insecure.

Not everyone will support you when you decide to change and that’s ok. You’ll find out the ones who do and those ones will be the keepers.

Don’t sacrifice your time on earth for people you don’t genuinely care about any longer, it’s time to start look after YOU.
