Eat, Work, Sleep, Weekend, Drink, Repeat!
Are you sick of doing the same thing week in, week out and wondering why?
You might even think there is something wrong with you because you used to be so happy and enjoy what what you were doing, but now, it just isn’t cutting it anymore and you feel completely lost.
Let me assure you of one thing before reading any further; there’s nothing wrong with you, you just need to change and find some new fulfilment.
A few years ago I was stuck in a rut. I did the norm for a number few years and I was genuinely happy but then I slowly started to feel disconnected from the people I spent my time with and I wasn’t finding the same fulfilment in doing the same things that I always had done.
I got anxious, fearful and I started to lose my mojo.
I thought there was something wrong with me so I wore a mask to make sure everyone thought I was ok and kept putting myself in the same situations hoping for things to get better.
They never did.
I desperately wanted to change but the trouble was, I didn’t know where to start.
I didn’t know anything about myself or what my interests were.
So my anxiety got worse and I remained the same.
When my anxiety turned to depression I finally decided to change.
I knew I had to start looking for new things that could make me feel fulfilled and in turn, I knew this would help me figure out who I was as a person.
It was terrifying, stepping outside of my comfort zone to try new things but I quickly started to find out about ME.
I found what I liked, what I didn’t like, what made me happy and fulfilled and I started doing more of what I enjoyed.
As I did these things, my whole life started to change, new people came my way, new experiences and new opportunities and I have never looked back since.
So if you are feeling stuck in a rut, be assured, there’s nothing wrong with you, you just need to change, to move onto the next chapter and open the door to a whole new level in your life!
